Hello!

I am Katja, the wild head behind Wilde Käthe.

Every piece you find here was crocheted by me in elaborate handwork.

My love for glittering vintage yarns and luxurious alpaca and mohair gives rise to unique, colorful pieces. I am always on the hunt for the last balls of that one great yarn and sparkling vintage fibers.

The result is pieces that encourage people to try things out and decorate themselves. For a world in which we all wear what brings us joy!

So if you are looking for something very special, you have come to the right place.

    If you want to visit me, come by the Hamburg store! In the summer you can also find me at festivals, for example at MS Dockville.

    The taz wrote an article about my work in its print edition in 2021. If you are interested, you can find the online article here .

    A few things have changed since then: I no longer work in Wedding, but in Neukölln in an artist community. I also no longer just work with upcycling, but combine high-quality fibers with selected vintage yarns.
