I am Katja, the wild head behind Wilde Käthe.
Every piece you find here was crocheted by me in elaborate handwork.
My love for glittering vintage yarns and luxurious alpaca and mohair gives rise to unique, colorful pieces. I am always on the hunt for the last balls of that one great yarn and sparkling vintage fibers.
The result is pieces that encourage people to try things out and decorate themselves. For a world in which we all wear what brings us joy!

Production & Material
We work with high-quality yarns such as alpaca, mohair, silk, and merino – combined with glittering and colorful vintage yarns.
I collect yarns wherever I find them: while traveling, from people with the most diverse stories, in small shops, and from estates. Every yarn has its own origin, its own feel, and sometimes its own backstory.
From this collection, a new edition is created every month: a mini-collection of unique pieces, each made only once.
Recently, a second line has been added: Käthe No. 1 is the beginning of a series that will grow over time. I produce these pieces to order.
Everything is crafted in my studio in Berlin-Lichtenberg – there is always something going on there, and that is exactly how I like it.
